FloridaVelo wins the inaugural $100K Bill Bone PRO-AM race

FloridaVelo’s Masters journeyed down to South Florida to support and compete at the inaugural $100 Bill Bone PRO-AM.

The race was held around the famed Homestead Speedway, and the level of competition lived up the hype of this new series.  The course layout and windy conditions made the race one of attrition and strategy.

Four members earned 1^st, 4^th, 5^th, and 8^th places, winning both the race and the field sprint from breakaways.

Congratulations to Andy Mapple for his 1^st win as a FloridaVelo member, and to Mark Stein, Didier Fresne and Pablo Santa Cruz for a fantastic and dominating team effort!
